Season’s greetings all!
As we approach the end of the year, our Managing Director, Stuart Wilson, would like to share a message:
“Wow, what a year it’s been! Whilst it has undoubtedly been a difficult year for all, it’s also given us time to reflect and be grateful for many things.
Lockdown and furlough are words we had never even heard of before, let alone used prior to March 2020, now hardly a day passes without their mention.
Like so many businesses, Nexus was forced to rapidly adapt to ensure all our staff and clients were kept safe. We’ve reshaped the way we work, much of which will continue into the foreseeable future. We’ve adapted our business plans to mitigate many of the risks we might face, both as a result of the pandemic and in relation to its impact on the economy, our business and our clients.
We face the future with the confidence that we are in a much better position to deal with whatever may come our way and better still, the assurance that we can react very quickly to change.
It has certainly been a different experience and it has demonstrated just how incredibly agile and supportive our great people at Nexus are. I keep saying it but at the end of the day, it’s all about the people!
I’d like to extend my gratitude to our hardworking team, who have continued to provide outstanding services to our clients, old and new. They’ve allowed us to continue to excel in what we do and have taken advantage of various methods of communication to ensure the office banter doesn’t slip!
I’d also like to thank all our incredible clients, who have allowed us to continue supporting them through uncertain times and whose often overwhelming positive feedback has definitely made the difference between good and bad days for our team!
I hope all of our colleagues and their families, clients, partners and friends have a happy, healthy and safe Christmas. We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year!
