Cyber Essentials Plus is independently verified by ‘Certifying Bodies’, such as our partner Cyber Tec Security.

It assesses the same technical controls as the basic version, but Plus allows us to check that you’re aligned with them, rather than you self-assessing. We always recommend that you undergo a Cyber Essentials Plus ‘Pre-Assessment’ first; that way, any security gaps can be identified and remediated, ensuring a pass when it comes to the actual Plus assessment.
