Nexus Cloud Connect BCDR – Complete Protection for Your Business.
With our comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery solution, we help safeguard your business from cyber criminals using malware, human error, fire/flood/theft and malicious employee activity.
With Nexus defending your business, you are guaranteed business continuity with uninterrupted secure access to your data in the cloud. Your servers can be up and running in under forty-five seconds after failover, ensuring it’s business as normal with minimal impact.
You Need Something Modern, Fast and Transparent
Your data is at the core of your business. Any loss or disruption in access could stop your business from operating; the costs financially, and to your reputation, can be devastating.
Older and more traditional backup technologies, which rely on tapes and USB disks, are unreliable and can make GDPR compliance difficult.

Complete Protection for Your Business.
A complete BCDR solution doesn’t have to be complex and expensive.
Nexus Cloud Connect is designed from the ground up to be a fully automated and cost-effective solution with market-leading features.
Our service features our total data protection platform delivered in one integrated package. It protects any physical, virtual and cloud infrastructure running on VMware or Hyper-V. If disaster strikes and your business infrastructure fails, our service can spin up backups of lost servers without the need for extra tools or additional costs usually associated with traditional cloud BCDR solutions.
Backups are created on a local Nexus Cloud Connect device (as often as every five minutes), replicating these to our secure cloud. You can recover granular data quickly from multiple points in time, or use local virtualisation, Nexus Cloud Connect virtualisation – or both – to get you back to business in minutes.
Real Rehearsals
As part of the contract, we’ll include time for disaster recovery tests. Does your existing backup do this?
These aren’t token tests, either. We’ll check the end-to-end configuration to prove that you really can get your staff back online, that their workstations can connect, and the applications and data are up-to-date, correct and working.
With anything less than this, in a disaster you are likely to discover:
Cloud Backup vs BCDR
This service is similar to our ‘cloud backup’ version of Nexus Cloud Connect Backup, but provides full BCDR (business continuity and disaster recovery).
The difference is that the simpler cloud backup variant doesn’t include the automated failover with instant business continuity servers you can access from our cloud.
This BCDR service is on constant standby with recent copies of your servers, ready to take over at short notice.
Nexus:
Veeam Accredited Service Partner
Nexus Cloud Connect backup runs in a resilient data centre on Veeam’s cutting-edge backup software.
There are only a small elite of Veeam Accredited Service Partners (VASPs) in the UK, optimally qualified to provide Veeam consultancy and services.
Market Leading BCDR Without the Hidden Costs
How does Nexus Cloud Connect differ from other leading BCDR solutions? We’re transparent in our pricing and features, we won’t make a bad situation worse with hidden costs which can quickly mount up when disaster strikes.
Don’t get caught out with hidden costs, you pay a fixed monthly fee – no additional costs when things go wrong, everything is included in what you pay.
Disaster Recovery (DR) Sequence
So, the worst happened. You got hacked. A plumbing leak shut down your server room. Whatever it might be – your servers are toast. What do you do?
One
Invoke your DR plan.
If there’s been criminal activity or a data breach, you may need to talk to Action Fraud and the ICO. Notify your insurers, your legal advisers and crisis PR.
Two
Talk to us.
We’ll rationalise with you that a DR server failover is the most appropriate action (sometimes partial failures make more sense to fix instead).
Three
Invoke our DR servers.
Once we press go, the Nexus cloud copy of your server is up and running very quickly.
Your users are pointed towards our DR server for business as usual.
Four
Plan your recovery.
Whilst your staff run off our DR servers, you have time to procure and set up new production servers.
