The UK Government G-Cloud is an initiative targeted at simplifying the procurement process for public sector bodies, wishing to adopt information technology services that use cloud computing. The overall objective is to ease the movement of computing services to the Cloud, providing the public sector with assured security and standard management practices, through easy access to an approved catalogue of technology suppliers.
