We are thrilled to share the incredible success of the Bigwave Games 2023, an event that not only brought joy and excitement to the Exeter community but also raised a over £6000 for the remarkable local charity, Hospiscare. As the headline sponsor of this fantastic initiative, Nexus is proud to have been part of an event that not only fosters community spirit but also contributes to a cause close to our hearts.
The Big Wave Games is set up and run by Bigwave Marketing in Exeter. The event aims to bring local businesses together to socialise, network and participate in a range of exciting physical, mental, and social activities. At the core of the event is a fundraising ethos, and each team helps to raise money for local charities. This year the Exeter 2023 games raised money for Hospiscare, which also happens to be our chosen charity of the year.
Last week, our team had the pleasure of visiting the Bigwave Marketing offices to discuss the outstanding #BigWaveGames in Exeter. The meticulous organisation of this event truly stood out, and it was evident that numerous businesses in and around Exeter benefited greatly from the diverse range of activities hosted throughout the summer.
From rock climbing and rowing to city-wide treasure hunts and the quirky delight of bubble football, the games truly catered to diverse interests, ensuring there was something enjoyable for everyone.
