We have the expertise to analyse and understand all of your Microsoft licensing requirements. Our licensing experts constantly monitor product-specific licensing information, enabling us to provide you with the most effective and up-to-date Microsoft licensing solution available.

At Nexus we employ qualified Microsoft licensing specialists who are Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCP); in addition, each member of our sales team is qualified to Microsoft Licensing Sales Expert (MLSE) status. We also employ over 30 additional MCPs, MCSEs and MCTs, illustrating the commitment that we have to delivering Microsoft software solutions and services.

How Microsoft Volume Licensing Works

Volume licensing agreements make it easier and more affordable to run Microsoft software in your organisation. When you purchase Microsoft software licenses through Nexus using a volume licensing program, you ONLY pay for the software licence. Boxed software, on the other hand, includes the media, guides and packaging. Eliminating these physical costs and purchasing in volume reduces cost and provides more customised purchasing options and improved software asset management.

Depending on the volume licensing program you choose, you may receive media, and you have the option to acquire media (or supplemental media), documentation, and product support separately as required.

You can also purchase Microsoft Software Assurance (SA). This comprehensive maintenance offering can help you get the most out of your software investment. It combines the latest software with additional telephone support, partner services and free IT Training using Microsoft SA Vouchers. You can choose Software Assurance at the time of purchase and begin using your benefits immediately for the term of your licence agreement.

As a Microsoft Learning Partner, Nexus offer the complete range of MOC (Microsoft Official Curriculum) courses. These courses are always delivered by an MCT (Microsoft Certified Trainer).

To choose the optimal approach for your organisation, we will help you to understand the benefits of Microsoft volume licensing policies and programs. Microsoft tailors some of its programs to meet the needs of specific industries, depending on the primary function of the organisation. For example, there are great discounts available for charities, schools, universities and public sector organisations.

For very large organisations we work closely with a number of Large Account Resellers (LARs) in the UK, which enables us to have direct access to 'Select' and 'Enterprise' licence ordering, management and provisioning systems. For smaller organisations, the 'Open' programs provide a simple, cost-effective way to acquire the latest Microsoft technology.

Nexus are also a Microsoft Online Services Partner (MOSP) and Cloud Accelerate Partner, as such we can offer Microsoft cloud computing services to your organisation, enabling the rapid deployment of software and services with a flexible licensing model. For example, Office 365 consists of a suite of online services and offline software that includes Office Professional Plus, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Lync Online and the standard Office Web Apps. We can offer a comprehensive Office 365 software deployment service to our business customers.
