Digital Marketplace Approved Supplier
The Digital Marketplace framework initiative by the UK Government Procurement Service is the latest procurement framework of cloud computing services for the public sector.
Nexus is a Digital Marketplace Approved Supplier with the ability to provide cloud consultancy and services under the framework. With this approval over 1,600 public sector organisations can procure services from Nexus within the Specialist Cloud Services and SaaS (Software as a Service) categories on Digital Marketplace.
The UK Government Digital Marketplace is an initiative targeted at easing procurement by public sector bodies wishing to adopt information technology services that use cloud computing. The overall objective is to ease the movement of computing services to the Cloud, providing the public sector with assured security and standard management practices through easy access to an approved catalogue of technology suppliers. Nexus shares the government’s vision of cloud computing - to expand the adoption of cloud services to facilitate cost effective and dynamic solutions for our clients.
