Live webinar | Tuesday 17th January | 10:00 - 10:45
With the recent changes to Keeping Children Safe in Education, it is clear that ICT are playing a key role in safeguarding children within the school setting.
The huge growth of internet usage and widespread access to social media have led the Department of Education (DfE) to review the Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidance with an updated version becoming statutory in September 2016. This new guidance means that every school now needs to consider and review its safeguarding policies and procedures, particularly on how they protect students online.
At Nexus we're familiar with the challenges you now face and also that that the new statutory guidance is open to interpretation as to what is “appropriate” in each school.
