Customised Microsoft Training Programme

The IT team at Atass Sports turned to Nexus to create a customised Microsoft training programme that focused on key topics that would help the team to better manage and support their IT infrastructure.

The Atass Group is a diverse range of businesses spanning multiple industry sectors. The group contains twelve individual organisations that provide services ranging from high quality statistical research consultancy, quality modelling and analysis for the sports industry, to energy services providing installations of solar photovoltaic micro-generation, solar thermal and other renewable heating technologies.

The IT team at Atass Sports turned to Nexus to create a customised Microsoft training programme that focused on key topics that would help the team to better manage and support their IT infrastructure. The programme was designed to ensure that individual topics, training modules and test labs were relevant to the delegates attending the training courses.

A Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) from Nexus worked closely with the team to choose the exact subject material from a number of different Microsoft Windows Server and Exchange Server courses in our training catalogue. Nexus were able to give expert advice about the most suitable duration for each module. This led to the provision of a customised three-day training course that reduced the disruption to the business by skipping irrelevant content.

Over a two month period, Nexus successfully delivered the following private training courses to the Atass Sports IT Team at its Training Centre in Exeter.

  • Managing and Maintaining Microsoft Windows Server 2008
  • Configuring, Managing and Troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange Server 2010

As a result of the training the IT team at Atass Sports are now in a strong position to be able to further develop and more effectively support their IT infrastructure.
